Despite financial and enrollment difficulties, the spirit of the faculty and students has remain^ free, creative and productive. While tensions, troubles and disagreements have at times grasped the community, flic response has always residted in a positive stanc«, and creative and innovstive ways have been found te resolve the problem and face the future. I have been engaged in some form of academic ad- mini.stration for twenty-four years. Skteen of those years have been as an academic dean in church related liberal arts colleges. For the past five years, it has been my privilege and honor to serve ; St. Andrews Presbyterian i College.
